Arnold “Arnie” Rients, 76, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, formerly from Jackson, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Sanford Medical Center Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Military Honors performed by the Jackson American Legion Post #130 will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023, outside of the Jackson American Legion. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow from 5-7 p.m. in the Legion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Jackson American Legion in Arnie’s honor are preferred.
