(Jackson)- Winter weather has not left for the season just yet, as varying amounts of snow are set to blanket the region once again. Today we could see between 4-8 inches of snow fall, and that could last all the way into Friday morning, with gusting winds up to 20 mph. We will have a quiet Friday but that will turn into another snowfall on Friday night and Saturday, which could last until midnight and dump another three inches on the area.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for the region, and they warn of snow and light freezing drizzle which could make travel dangerous all throughout the day today. Make sure you know what the road conditions are by calling 511.
