It’s going to truly feel like winter for the rest of this week. 

Strong northwesterly winds are blowing across the region. Wind gusts could reach 30 to 45 miles per hour.

Gusts could even increase toward 60 miles per hour later tonight. Light snow is also possible late tonight north of I-90.

The combination of snow and strong winds could result in difficult travel conditions with visibilities down to a mile or less at times. Wind chill values are expected to fall into the teens and single digits tonight as well. Highs will be in the 30s with lows in the 20s as we move into the weekend.
