Winter Storm Tosses 6.5 Inches Of Snow On The Region
(Undated)- 1-2 inches of snow fell per hour during the Wednesday night storm, which saw between 5-9 inches blanket the area in yet another major snowfall. Compounding the snow issue were gusts of between 20 and 25 mph, though blizzard conditions were not often present in the storm.
Overall snow amounts for the entire winter thus far add up to over 40 inches of snow, with recent additions only partially added on to that total.
Conditions are expected to get better as we head into the weekend, with cloudy days and slightly higher temperatures.
