(Jackson)- The Farmers and Makers Market in Jackson is kicking of its season tonight. They'll have a bunch of activities during the market like rock painting, succulent, cacti or annual planting activities as well.

The Power of Food Club will also have tokens available for youth, adults, and seniors. Individuals are eligible to receive a $10 voucher, and families of three or more can get $30 for the entire market season.

On top of that, Supplies for Kids will be serving walking tacos and water for $7 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, for their first in person fundraising event. All that money goes towards providing supplies for our local students to make sure they can get the best out of the upcoming school season...

“So we wanted to start getting out in the public and engaging people to let them know about our goals and our new non-profit organization which is Supplies For Kids, focusing on raising enough money donations to help supply Pre-K through 8^th grade students at JCC and Immanuel with their school supplies for next year.
