State reports highest new COVID cases since January
(St. Paul, MN) -- State health officials are reporting the highest number of daily COVID-19 cases in nearly three months. The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed two-thousand-140 positive tests today (Thursday) which is the first day with more than two-thousand since January 10th.
The 438 people hospitalized with coronavirus is also an increase of 50 patients since last week. Officials have been warning of an uptick in cases following spring break travel.
