573 Federated REA members that were served by the Wilder substation lost power around 4:30 on Monday. An ITC transmission line pole had a wire come loose and it started the pole on fire. Federated Operations Manager George Madden said the outage took a bit longer to restore as their crews had to work with ITC crews. He also stated that there was no failure with Federated equipment. Power was restored around 7pm. Federated is a Touchstone Energy cooperative serving more than 5300 members in Jackson and Martin Counties.
