(Worthington)- This Monday saw the Nobles County Sheriff's Office make an arrest for a man who reportedly threatened the life of the Nobles County Attorney, as well as his family.

According to a press release by the Nobles County Sheriff's Office, an investigation determined that the suspect who made the threats lived in Round Lake. The office received an arrest warrant for the individual, who was arrested by the High Risk Entry and Arrest Team, due to the nature of the crime, as well as the history of the suspect. Contact was made with the suspect in his residence, and he subsequently exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday at approximately 4:43 am.

Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing. The Sanford Ambulance service assisted at the scene.
