The National Federation of State High School Associations estimates that around 50-thousand refs have stopped working since the COVID pandemic began. Executive director of the Minnesota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Dan Johnson says 11 schools across the state may have to reduce the number of games play each year due to scheduling issues.
