Rebuilding Together is now Serving the Counties of Jackson, Nobles and Cottonwood
(Jackson) Rebuilding Together is a group whose mission is repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives and their vision is safe homes and communities for everyone. Galen Kaufman, who is the Program Manager of SW MN Rebuilding Together, says the concept is pretty simple.
"Rebuilding together is basically neighbors helping neighbors. That's how it started. There are 124 affiliates."
The program was started 48 years ago in Texas by people who wanted to help their neighbors. It has grown into a national non profit organization with 124 affiliates and is now branching out to rural MN. The SW MN office is the first program started outside the metro area and will serve Jackson, Cottonwood and Nobles counties.
