One person was injured in a car-semi accident last (Monday) night on Interstate 90 near Fairmont.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, around 11:15pm, a 2008 Ford Edge driven by 48 year-old Tamara Hilgendorf of Welcome and a 2012 Volvo Semi driven by 55 year-old Patrick Pierre of Elizabeth, NJ were both westbound on I-90, near mile marker 99, when they collided in the right lane.

Hilgendorf was taken to a Fairmont hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Pierre was not injured.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
