New cases lag, hospitalizations/ICU patient see spike
Minnesota Health Officials announced 480 new positive cases this morning. That brings the State’s total to 52,281.
Over 9,000 tests were reported this morning, bringing the total number of tests completed to 979,988. This is the lowest number of completed tests since July 14.
Jackson County is at 61, Cottonwood County is at 155, Martin County is up 3 to 195 and Nobles County is at 1,721.
4 new deaths were reported this morning, bringing the state’s total to 1,580, of which 1,210 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
The number of Minnesotans in the hospital is up 37 to 294. Those in ICU are up 12 to 138. Both are daily highs for July.
