More Winter Weather Coming To The Area This Week
Tue 3-14-2023

(Jackson)- Jackson is in what the National Weather Service calls a medium impact area for at least the rest of this week, as winter is still not over just a week from the end of the season.
A large swath from Norfolk, Nebraska to Marshall will see a high amount of snow, low temperatures, and slick roads. In the medium impact area Jackson and the surrounding area is situated in, we might see slightly higher temperatures with a still widespread risk of snow, but also adding in mixed precipitation.
This storm is likely to impact the area beginning Thursday morning and ending Friday morning, so it could impact two days of morning travel for area workers.
The National Weather Service advises, if you need to travel during these times, to pay close attention to the local forecast.
