MN reports highest death day for second straight day
The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota topped 19,000 with 813 new positive cases reported this morning. Jackson County is up one to 37, Cottonwood County is up 2 to 61, Martin County held at 124 and Nobles County increased 18 to 1,432.
33 new deaths reported this morning, a new single day high. That brings the state’s total to 842, of which 688 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
Over 7,000 tests were reported, bringing the state’s total to over 180,000 tests completed. 566 Minnesotans are hospitalized from COVID-19, that’s down 32 from yesterday. Total in ICU increased 4 at 233.
