(Windom)- The Minnesota Sheriff’s Association has been handing out $2,000 scholarships to some outstanding young people planning to become Minnesota peace officers in the future, with Keenan Ambrose of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office receiving one of them. Other regional future peace officers have also gotten these scholarships, with the full list being released just the other day.
Also getting one of these scholarships is Daniel Gardiner, who is a part time Corrections Officer for the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office. In a news release, the office says Daniel is from the Mountain Lake area and is completing his law enforcement degree at Minnesota West in Worthington.
Also on the list is Tate Gaul from the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
