Minnesota received grant to support mental health care
(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota is getting a two-million-dollar federal grant to support mental health care.
Governor Tim Walz says the funding will go to health care providers and first responders combating serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The help will come through seven certified behavioral health clinics across the state.
Walz says the COVID pandemic has taken an incredible toll on Minnesotans, including our mental health and well-being.
