Minnesota COVID cases dropping
(St. Paul, MN) -- COVID-19 statistics in Minnesota appear to be on a downward trend. The State Department of Health reported 611 new cases Monday after 779 on Sunday, 940 Saturday, and more than a thousand Friday.
The 611 positive results from 18-thousand-165 tests resulted in a daily positivity rate of just over three-point-three percent Monday. Two more Minnesotans died of coronavirus complications which brings the state's death toll to six-thousand-379.
Nineteen deaths were reported Friday and there were seven more on both Saturday and Sunday.
