(Jackson)- The first days of this weekend will see a continuation of the good weather we've had lately, but Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend look to be plagued by scattered thunderstorms. The National Weather Service says there will be quiet conditions for the rest of this week, but scattered rain chances will develop in central South Dakota on Friday, and slowly move east during the holiday weekend. Rain is expected, but also will likely be scattered without much accumulation.

Temperatures will also be on the rise, with today being 79 for a high, then getting into the upper 80s and possibly lower 90s over the Memorial Day holiday. Make sure you know the forecast to avoid any pockets of potentially dangerous storms, check your forecast.
