Lakefield Police Chief Roger Pohlman Running For District 3 Jackson Commissioner Seat
(Lakefield)- Roger Pohlman of Lakefield has announced his candidacy for the Third District of the Jackson County Commissioners. Pohlman served for 21 years in the military, attending college and receiving a Bachelor's of Science in criminal justice, a master's in human resources administration and a master's in business administration. He also then served 16 years in the Grand Forks Police Department, being promoted to police sergeant and then lieutenant, then assistant to the police chief. He was police chief of Red Wing, MN, then returned to Lakefield, where he is now the police chief there.
