(Round Lake, MN)- A southwest Minnesota woman is out of a job after not noticing that two sleeping children didn't get out of a van when it stopped at their school. The two children had dozed off in the second row of the van yesterday morning on the way from Worthington to Brewster. School district officials called the grandmother of the four and five-year-old boys when they didn't show up at the school. They were found inside the van in Lakefield just after nine o'clock and were both okay. The company that owns the van says the driver was let go for not making sure the van was empty after reaching the school.
