JCC plans return to in-person learning
Jackson County Central Schools have updated their current learning plan, with the goal of having all students back to in school learning before the end of the month.
Starting on Monday, Preschool through 6th grade will remain in all in-person learning. 7th grade will be in person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with Wednesday being a distance learning day.
For 8th graders, the A Group will be in person on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with distance learning on Thursday and Friday. The B Group will be in person on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Monday and Tuesday being distance learning days.
High School students in grades 9-12 will have no change the week of January 11th. Students will remain in the A and B group schedule due to MDH guidance and the semester change.
Wednesday noon dismissal remains.
There will be no school on January 18, 2021 for a teacher in service.
Starting on Tuesday, January 19 the plan will be for all students, preschool through 12th grade to be in in-person learning five days per week. School will still dismiss at noon on Wednesdays.
Full time distance learners are asked to contact the administrator in your building if you want to return to in-person school. If you remain a full time distance learner, the next time to switch will be at the end of the quarter.
