Jackson Library To Host Alzheimers Event In March
(Jackson)- The Jackson Library will be hosting public health events all about Alzheimer's Disease coming up in March. The events are tailored towards learning, and educating attendees on what the disease is and how to manage it.
There will be events at the Lakefield Multi Purpose Center on March 7th from 10:00-11:30 am, then later in the day from 1:00-2:30 pm at the Jackson Public Library.
Dr. Joseph Gaugler, PhD, is the Robert L. Kane endowed chair in long-term care and aging, and a professor at the University of Minnesota. His focus is figuring out the best way to support families and professionals who care for those with memory loss, and he aims to improve the health and well being of carers through innovative programs and technologies.
