(Jackson)- The Jackson Prairie Rehab and Fitness Center recently shared that they collected food for the Jackson Food Shelf over the holidays. A press release says that they donated 77 pounds of food items on the 25th of January, and that everything they did is no small part of the ability the food shelf has to keep its doors open. 

They served 1844 individuals from 588 families in 2023, which resulted in 214,642 pounds of food. 1 in 8 people in our country still go to bed hungry, and the support made a real difference in that fight against hunger. 

The rehab and fitness center says they were happy to help and that it was all thanks to their gang at the center who brought together the donation.
