Jackson County sees 100th COVID case
The Minnesota Department of Health has announced 389 new COVID-19 cases this morning. That brings the State’s total to 82,249.
Jackson County is up 1 to 100, Cottonwood County is at 208, Martin County is up 1 to 253 and Nobles County is up 6 to 1,899.
The state has reported almost 8,000 new tests this morning. That brings the state’s total to 1,646,961. Less than 13,000 tests have been reported in the last two days, the lowest two-day total since early July.
15 new deaths were reported this morning. That brings the state’s total to 1,884, of which 1,375 are among residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
The number of Minnesotans currently in the hospital are down 6 to 257, with 138 of those in ICU, up 1 from yesterday.
