Jackson County reports 9th COVID death
(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 2,004 positive COVID tests, increasing the state's total to 429-thousand-570 cases.
Forty-four more Minnesotans have died of coronavirus complications, which brings the death toll to five-thousand-572. One of the victims was a Jackson County resident in their late 40’s. That brings the county’s total to 9.
787 people are hospitalized with COVID and 135 patients are in intensive care. Today's (Thursday) numbers came from just over 42-thousand-tests.
