The Jackson County Judging Team had a great trip to the National 4-H Contest in Louisville, KY. 

Kade Tewes, Brooklyn Roll, Tanner Nelson, and Sylvia Chapman-Nesseth earned Top 10 results in several categories. The team finished ninth place overall including sixth in sheep/goats, seventh in reasons, and eighth in hogs. They were among 29 teams competing with over 100 youth participants at the event. 

The trip also featured multiple stops at elite livestock operations along the way to practice. They also got to take in a show at the North American International Livestock Expo and watch horse racing at Churchill Downs
