Highway 4 from Ormsby to St. James Opens November 18

Highway 4 from Ormsby to St. James is expected to open to traffic on Monday, November 18, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists should expect shoulder restrictions and travel with caution along Highway 4 from Ormsby to St. James as finishing work is expected to continue until late November.
The Highway 4 project between Sherburn and St. James included roadway, bridge, and drainage improvements. In addition to resurfacing approximately 25 miles of roadway, the bridge over Cedar Run was replaced and multiple bridges were repaired. Pedestrian accommodations in the cities of Sherburn and Trimont were also improved.
MnDOT thanks area residents and motorists for their patience during construction.
Benefits of the project include improved pavement, drainage, and pedestrian accommodations. OMG Midwest was awarded the project with a bid of $20,724,636.58.
