(Fulda)- A Fulda man has recently been accused of sexual assault towards a minor he met online. Court documents show their meeting places were often in Windom, though also in Fulda. Alex Duane Wildfeuer, age 23, was charged Monday with two counts of felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Cottonwood County Court.

Apparently Wildfeuer and the 14 year old girl met in a group chat and began talking. After that, they met in person in Windom. The girl's mother then noticed a few strange things, including text messages, and received a confession from the girl, where the mother then turned the man in to police.

The messages helped investigators determine the nature of the relationship, with Wildfeuer often threatening self harm if the girl didn't do what he wanted, and many sexual messages and images. Wildfeuer was arrested and released on a $25,000 cash bond.
