Fraud And Scams Class Coming Online From MNRAAA
(Undated)- Frauds and scams have been on the rise lately, whether over the phone, through email and text, or even in person. Different law enforcement agencies in the region have been hard at work to fix these issues, but another way is for citizens to learn more about scams themselves.
The Minnesota Board on Aging is sponsoring a virtual preventing fraud and scams virtual class on February 20th in an attempt to educate people on scams and how to prevent them. They say that there are always ways you can protect yourself and your personal information. Preventing fraud and scams includes information about fraud prevention, how you can detect and report fraud and scams to keep your information and belongings safe.
The class will be Tuesday, February 20th at 3:30 pm online.
