(Windom)- A fire was reported Monday night at the HyLife plant on Highway 60, which caused some damage. Though not a very large fire, it was luckily contained to the roof and outside without causing much damage to the inside of the building.

It's reported that no people or animals were injured during the fire and that no meat from the plant had been put in a risk situation due to the blaze. It was reported at 9 pm on Monday by HyLife employees could smell smoke, even able to see flames on one side of the plant. The cause of the fire is not yet determined.
