Federated Rural Electric Trust Board Operation Round Up Sees Money Delivered For Local Projects

(Jackson)- Federated Rural Electric in Jackson just concluded their Operation Round Up, which includes donations to a lot of local entities looking for a bit of a boost towards funding on certain projects. The Federated Rural Electric Trust Board also sets aside funding for nine $700 high school scholarships for members during 2023.
31 groups are confirmed a donation towards their projects during this cycle, totaling at $32,228.
Some of the largest single donations include money towards the Jackson Ambulance Service for a new handheld radio due to the current broken one, $1,799 for the Jackson County Library System for an Automatic External Defibrillator for Lakefield, and $1,500 for the Heron Lake Okabena High School so they can buy a new band saw for their Industrial Tech courses.
