Easter Egg Hung In Jackson Postponed

Thu 3-28-2024

(Jackson)- The Good Samaritan Society in Jackson was to have their Easter egg hunt, but the event has been moved back due to weather concerns, with snow still on the ground and temperatures hovering around and below freezing.

Due to the conditions, the group released a new flier that gives the rescheduled dates, as better weather for the event trumps getting it closer to Easter itself. The rescheduled event will be Friday, April 7th at the Jackson County Central High School Auxiliary Gym. Doors will open at 3:30 pm, with kickoff for the egg hunt at 4 pm.

The society is especially looking for kids 5th grade and under, and the event will see the Easter Bunny, prizes and a lot of fun.
