(St. James)- Tuesday saw the St. James Police Department and Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force, as well as the Watonwan County Sheriff's Office execute a drug search on the 400 block of 1^st Avenue South in St. James.

Among what was seized from the location was over an ounce of methamphetamine, an amount of psilocybin mushrooms, pieces of drug paraphernalia, and other items that indicated to law enforcement that there were drug sales at the residence. Four adults were also taken into custody.

23 year old Tommy Velasco of St. James was charged with 1^st Deggree Drug Sales and 3^rd Degree Drug Possession with a warrant. 24 year old Karen Castaneda of St. James was charged with 3^rd Degree Drug Sales and 5^th Degree Drug Possession, and 18 year old Skylar Carlson of St. James was charged with 5^th Degree Drug Possession.

A fourth person, 27 year old Danielle Westman of St. James was also arrested on two outstanding felony warrants. They are all currently being held at the Watonwan County Jail pending court.
