(Windom)- A crash last Friday in Windom sent one person to the hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to that crash at 3:03 pm when a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Matthew Michael Adrian, age 34 of Mountain Lake was southbound on Highway 71.

The Chevrolet and a 2006 Volvo Semi, driven by Teklay Hagdu, age 42 of Sioux City, Iowa, which was also southbound on Highway 71, collided in the road. Adrian sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was taken by ground ambulance to the Windom Hospital.

The Windom Ambulance, Windom Police Department and Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office all assisted at the scene.
