Crash In Murray County Sends Three To Hospital
(Lake Sarah)- A crash in neighboring Murray County sent three to the hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash on Saturday at 4:44 pm, when a 2012 Ford Edge, driven by Travis Halland, age 49 of Storden, was northbound on Highway 59. Another vehicle, a 2004 GMC Yukon XL, driven by Jason Carlson, age 51 of Iona, was eastbound on 201st Street.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection, with all three occupants of the Ford receiving some sort of injury.
Halland, and passengers Amy Halland, age 47 of Storden and a male juvenile, also of Storden, were taken by ground ambulance to the Murray County Hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries. Travis Halland reportedly was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Shetek Fire, Murray County Ambulance, and Slayton Fire Department all assisted at the scene.
