Covid-19 Cases In Minnesota Likely To Rise With CDC Rule Relaxation
Covid cases going up a little bit, with 27 new cases in Jackson over the last week, but state and local health officials are saying this is the calm before the storm. The CDC just changed the quarantine guidelines lifting some restrictions and lessening others, including the controversial move to bring down the quarantine period from 10 days to just 5. CDC officials are considering adding a negative test requirement after push back to the new rules.
Weekly increase is projected to double over the next few weeks, as these new guidelines become more prevalent. The Supreme Court is also set to make a ruling on Friday regarding the mandate that businesses with more than 100 employees must form an OSHA regulated vaccination mandate by January 10th.
