Cooler Weather May Give Way Later This Week To Rain And 60s

Mon 4-1-2024

(Jackson)- Winter weather is still not yet done with us after low temperatures, snow, and some rain blanketed the region last week, with the National Weather Service saying there could still be trace amounts of cold moisture over the region throughout the day.

Some areas in the west will get up to four more inches of the white stuff, while southwest Minnesota will see likely trace amounts of snow or see the temperature hover around the freezing point and drop cold rain on us.

Once Monday ends, we’ll get a break from the wet times until next Sunday, when there’s a 70% chance of rain, but for the foreseeable future the temperatures will stay in the safe zone, away from snow. We may break 60 this week for a high and next week, despite the rainy weather, has highs up to 65. Stay tuned as we hopefully break the cold snap and finally enter spring.
