City of Jackson to Hold Public Reception for City Administrator Candidates

(Jackson) The Jackson City council is holding a public reception on Sunday January 5th from 5:00 to 6:30 to give the public an opportunity to meet the two candidates being considered for the City Administrator position. One of the candidates is Jason Baker. He is currently the City Administrator for Oronoco which is a city of 1,800 located in Olmsted County. The second candidate is James Langborg. Langborg is currently the fire chief with the city of Greenfield, Calif., a position he has held for more than six years. Greenfield is a city of 19,000 located in west-central California. The reception will be held in the council chambers at City Hall. The city council is holding their organizational meeting tonight at 6pm to swear in the new members of the council so they can participate in the interview process that will be on January 6th.
