Jackson County Central track and field is scheduled to begin the outdoor season next week. 

The JCC girls finished second and the boys finished fourth at the Wolverine Indoor meet this past Saturday. 

Huskies head coach Rafe York says the program is built upon a team-first model for chasing success.

He says the girls have some returners and young reinforcements after winning the section last year to qualify for the Team State Meet. 

He says the boys will try to build upon a section runner-up finish. 

JCC is set to start the outdoor season on Tuesday, April 2 in Luverne.
