Rowe, Voss on Star Tribune All-Minnesota Football Team
Tue 11-19-2024
The Minnesota Star Tribune named a pair of Jackson County Central players to the All-Minnesota high school football team.
Huskies junior offensive lineman Weston Rowe and junior four-star athlete Roman Voss are on the list of the top 25 players in the state.
The Tribune says Weston Rowe’s basketball background added to his athleticism on the line. He blocks with leverage and delivers a powerful blow on first contact. Rowe is a Division I recruit who can collapse an entire side of a defensive line and still get to the second level.
The Tribune also says the best athlete plays quarterback at many schools in greater Minnesota and that applies to Roman Voss. They say he boasts an enviable combination of strength and speed with nearly a dozen D-I scholarship offers. Voss can run away from defenders and has a strong arm, good accuracy and poise in the pocket.
JCC will play Staples-Motley in the Prep Bowl on Friday on KKOJ.
