Jackson County Central junior Roman Voss trimmed his list of top schools down to two on Wednesday. 

The four-star athlete told Hayes Fawcett of On3 Recruits that he is down to Alabama and Minnesota. Voss made this announcement near the anniversary of his first Power 4 scholarship offer from the home state Golden Gophers. The Crimson Tide made an offer to Voss in late March 2025. 

The list of 14 programs that made an offer to Voss also featured Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Kansas, Kansas State, Illinois, Cal, Miami (FL), UCLA, USC, Oklahoma, and Auburn since last May. 

The 6-4, 210-pound playmaker is the top Class of 2026 football recruit in the state of Minnesota.
