Red Bulls Beat Minneapolis North, TCU in St Peter

The Martin County Red Bulls wrestling team went 2-1 during a varsity quadrangular in St Peter on Tuesday.
The Red Bulls beat Minneapolis North Community 56-16 in one of the duals.
Jace Wiemers, Hector Gomez, and Adam Denson received forfeits and then the Red Bulls had a forfeit of the third own to lead 18-6. Pierce Rohman and Brock Stauffer took wins by pin to make quick work of the first mat action. MNC won by technical fall and then the Red Bulls won five straight matches. Kaedin Lange won by decision, Ty Kolbe by pin, and Maddex Faber by tech fall. Aaron Becker and Ivan Martin earned back-to-back pins to finish the winning streak. MNC took the heavyweight match by pin.
The Red Bulls beat Tri-City United 42-29 in their other dual win.
The Titans started with a win by pin. Gomez took a forfeit for the first Red Bulls points. TCU took a forfeit and then won by pin to build the 18-6 lead. Rohman won by decision but the Titans got a tech fall to make it 23-9 TCU. Paplow won by tech fall, Lange won by decision, and Kolbe earned a pin for the first Red Bulls lead 24-23. TCU got another pin but had to forfeit the final three matches to Becker, Martin, and DJ Miller.
The Red Bulls lost to St Peter 54-16 in the third dual of the night.
The Saints took the first four matches with two pins, a forfeit, and a tech fall to build a 23-0 lead. Rohman got a tech fall to finish the night unbeaten but St Peter got one of their own to make it 28-5 Saints. Paplow got another tech fall to make it 28-10. The Saints won the next three by decision, tech fall, and pin to make it 42-10 St Peter. Becker earned a pin and then the Saints took the final pair of matches in the dual.
The 13-5 Red Bulls return to the mat this Saturday at the Takedown on 22 tournament in Mapleton.
