Racing slated at Knoxville, Park Jefferson

JACKSON – There is racing scheduled at two tracks in the region this weekend.
Friday, the World of Outlaws have a show at Knoxville Raceway. That event will be held without fans.
The World of Outlaws is renting the facility and is limiting the number of people in the infield.
In addition to all of the World of Outlaws regulars, drivers from the All Star Circuit of Champions and IRA Outlaws Sprint Series are scheduled to compete.
Also, Park Jefferson International Speedway in North Sioux City is holding the Spring Nationals Friday and Saturday. That event is scheduled to be held with a limited number of fans.
Classes scheduled to run are IMCA modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks, sports compacts and Race Saver sprint cars.
Two drivers from Jackson are on the list of drivers in the sport compact class, Bubba Brown and Jared Sloss. Also scheduled to run in that class are Kaytee Devries of Spencer and Gary Grabill of Ellsworth.
Jeffrey Larson of Lakefield is scheduled to compete in the IMCA Stock Car division along with Justin Luinenburg of Reading and Tom Schumann of Comfrey.
Comfrey's Jim Richert is scheduled to drive in the IMCA Sport Mods class.
Three Worthington drivers are scheduled to compete in the IMCA hobby stocks, Tyler Popspisil, Malik Sampson and Corey Gronewold. Cody Nielsen of Spencer is also slated to run in the class.
Among the drivers in the IMCA RACESaver Sprint Cars class are Ryan Voss of Okoboji and Johnny Sullivan of Arnolds Park.
