Martin County West cross country finished second in the girls score and 4th in the boys score at the Valley Conference meet in Madelia. 

Ryan Pierson won the boys race with a time of 16:20 as the Mavericks had Grant Koehnen finish 5th place. 

Katie Hartke led the MCW girls to the finish line in third place with a 21:12 mark. Maddison Lynn, Evelynn Christenson, and Katelynn Kennedy placed in the top 10 as well. 

Mankato Loyola topped both team scores.
