ESTHERVILLE - Joey Pavlovich has resigned as head baseball coach at Iowa Lakes Community College to become pitching coach at Bryan College, an NAIA school in Dayton, Tenn.
Pavlovich has coached at Iowa Lakes for seven years, two as graduate assistant and five as head coach.
In that time, Pavlovich has had more than 70 players move on to the four-year level including an NAIA Player of the Year, multiple All-Americans and three professional players.
"The last seven years here and more specifically the last five as head coach have been everything I could have asked for," Pavlovich said. "There are wonderful people here within the community and I will always cherish and be thankful for the opportunity I have had to work with such great young men. I am very hopeful that the program will continue to go in the right direction."
Iowa Lakes has begun a national search for its next head coach.
