Nolan Ambrose doesn't have to worry anymore about choosing a college as he signed with Augustana earlier today. He will join three other former Huskies who are already on the Vikings roster, Payton Handevidt, Logan Butzon and Caleb Vancura. But, before college wrestling starts Ambrose has his sights set high for his senior season at JCC. Nolan cut 1

Ambrose says that a majority of his favorite memories so far have happened off the mat. Nolan cut 3 

JCC Head coach Nate Hanson says Ambrose has been a huge part of the JCC wrestling program. Hanson cut 1 (1) 

Ambrose won the Class A 132-pound title last year, the 113-pound title as a sophomore, and the 106-pound title as a freshman. He is working for a 4th individual title this season and would be the first Huskie wrestler to accomplish that feat. The wrestling season gets under way on December 2nd with a tournament in Glencoe Silver Lake. On December 5th they will wrestling at Luverne in a tri vs Redwood Valley and Luverne. They will come home on December 9th for the JCC invitational. We will have coverage of some of the meets on KKOJ and follow them all the way through the post season on KKOJ.
