Myles Michehl held off Derek Green for the USRA Ironman Stock Cars feature win on Friday during the season opener for Fairmont Raceway. 

Brandon Hare, Randy Schweizer, and Jaylen Wettengel rounded out the top five in the 29-car field. Randy Foote charged up 13 spots from the 23rd starting position to take the 10th-place finish. 

 

The opening night featured the debut of seven FMT 4.6L Crown Vic race cars with Nate Hogan capturing the win from the outside pole position. Darren Esser, Tyler Crimmins, Mike Layne, and Dillon Johanson completed the top five. 

Slade Fitzgerald took his USRA Tuner to victory lane from the front row. Jerry Coopman, Brandon Hartmann, Ty Fitzgerald, and Parker Larson rounded out the top five in the nine-car field. 

Jeremy Crimmins moved up from third to take home the Hobby Stock victory. Kolby Goepel, Gavin Bussinger, Joshua Monson, and Nick Schwebach completed the top five in a 12-car field. Schwebach made the right moves up from 10th. 

Klay Beemer kept the B-Mod trophy in his hometown from the outside pole. Ty Griffith took the runner-up spot from sixth in front of Jake Richards, Tianna Mithun, and James Richert in the 16-car field.

Lee Beemer grabbed the hometown nightcap win in the Modifieds from outside the front row. Dustin Wiederhoft, Lyle Sathoff, Roger Nielsen, and Bill Crimmins completed the top five in a six-car show. 

The Fairmont Raceway is dark next week but roars back to life Friday, May 16th with the USRA Clash of the Tuners.
