Tavion Diggs received a football scholarship offer from Morningside University. 

Diggs announced the offer via X on Monday.

The senior is a regular starter at running back and linebacker for JCC. He is averaging 9.2 yards per carry with three rushing touchdowns and 17 yards per reception this season. He has an interception this year and scored a safety this past Friday for the first points of the section championship. 

Diggs and the rest of the Huskies will play Norwood Young America in the Class AA State Football quarterfinals at Orono High School in Long Lake on Friday. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. but tickets must be purchased digitally in advance. There will be a "pep fest" at JCC High School at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
