It was the final regular season game for the MCW Mavericks and Fairmont Cardinals last night. Fairmont was able to jump out to a 6-0 early lead in the top of the first and they never looked back as they would go on to win 17 to 1.  Jensen Livesay was the winning pitcher for the Cardinals. He is just an 8th grader and only allowed one hit. Wyatt Williamson took the loss for the Mavericks. Both teams now await to see where they will be seeded in playoffs, which should be released today.
