The Martin County West boys' basketball team will travel to St. Peter tonight for the Section 2A South Sub-Section semifinal game against the #1 USC Rebels. MCW defeated Springfield in the first round by a final score of 75 to 58. USC defeated Madelia 70 to 29. We should know by noon if the weather will change the scheduling of this game.  We will have coverage on Xtreme Country 105.7 starting at 5:50 with the pre-game and 6:00 for the tip. The winner will play the winner of Mt. Lake Area/Comfrey and Mankato Loyola for the Section 2A south Sub section championship on Monday at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. The North Sub Section has Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s facing Cedar Mountain and Lester Prairie vs BOLD. Those games are being played at Sibley East High School.
